July 4th weekend had no shortage of very compelling Darwin Award nominees. The weekend started off with Texas Alligator Guy who mocks the gator and then jumps in the water only to be eaten by it. Then we learned of 500g Explosive on Head Guy in Maine who decided to launch a powerful Mortar Firework off of the top of his head using the cheap cardboard tube that comes in the box of rounds. Well last night, while I was actually reading the brutal comments about Firework guy on ABCNews, CNN throws this gem on my screen! I tried to find the original footage, but I couldn't locate it, so you'll have to deal with a screen cap from my phone. Tough to call a winner between these three cerebral giants!
