There are several refugee camps in Serbian capital Belgrade, and the biggest refugee camp is located in suburb part of town called Krnjaca.
Majority of refugees are from Syria, Pakistan and Afghanistan and the rest is from Africa. Even cold weather and snow that fell for few weeks didn't stop their way to border. Majority of them stay in camp for few hours, usually to eat and take some rest.
Camp is opened thanks to donations from EU, mainly Germany, Sweden, France and UK.
- Many times we try to persuade them not to leave camp in this weather conditions, and we don't do that anymore because, many of them become angry, almost violent, says one of the workers in the camp.
