The Syrian Armies new Russian trained fifth legion consisting of approximately 50000 men at arms is said to be the main man power in the task to retake Palmyra, substantial gains have been made north, East and south west of T4 Airbase. Reports that SAA and Hezbollah units have captured Jihar crossroads 40 km west of Palmyra. Whilst the talks at Astana are nearing the Tiger forces have prepared their offensive for East Aleppo in the direction of Al Bab, IRGC and Hezbollah have strengthened their positions in Southern Aleppo for a possible offensive, and talks of other offensives as the reserves that were called before Christmas will be joining active duty in the coming weeks.
