I work at a government facility that is considered a secure facility in that it has restricted access. However that didn't seem to stop a little old lady (upper 70's) from buzzing by me and straight through our main exit gate which is pretty sturdy. When I caught her as she was attempting to leave through our employee gate, which she managed to do without demolishing it, I discovered that she was mentally impaired. She had no recollection of colliding with the gate, was nearly 50 miles from her home, was totally unhurt. She was however carted away in an ambulance. Hopefully after causing 30K worth of damage to replace the gate her insurance company and family will keep her from the drivers seat before she kills someone.
