The White Helmets is an Anglo-American front group founded by former British infantry officer James Le Mesurier. Mainly using social media propaganda campaigns, the so-called Syrian Civil Defense agitate for a no-fly zone. The imposition of a no-fly zone would entail U.S. cruise missile strikes on Damascus, and other SAA/SyAAF strongholds, with the goal of regime change. These "humanitarian" strikes would result in tens of thousands of civilian casualties, allow for a complete al-Qaeda/ISIS/Muslim Brotherhood takeover of Syria and likely cause wider regional war/chaos. Hence the reason the US and Uk support these terrorists.
