Would you like to meet my father? He fought in WW2....was shot down in France in 1944....became a pow in Biloxi, Mississippi, USA....came back home in the 50ties, worked for the US Army in Frankfurt/Main,...met my mother...fell in love....produced me in1963...and moved to northern germany (lower saxony) where I still am.
I have many questions to him...but unfortunately he died in 1972 when i was just 9 years old. I often asked my mom about "war stories"...but she said that he almost never talked about the war. Sometimes he said to her that he regreted to kill so many "young man"....
