France to crack down on protests: Prime Minister Eduard Phillipe said on Monday that a new law could be introduced to stop undeclared protests in the wake of gilet jaune (yellow vest) protests turning violent on Saturday.
North Korea's leader in ?: Speculation is mounting that a North Korean train has entered , which could hold Kim Jong-un as one of its passengers. South Korean news agency Yonhap reported the train was expected in Beijing on Tueday. is the North's key diplomatic ally and main source of trade and aid.
Brexit: British Prime Minister Theresa May said on Monday she was trying to get assurances from the EU so she can win a vote on her Brexit deal next week. More than 200 MPs have signed a letter to Mrs May, urging her to rule out a no-deal Brexit - which is one where the UK leaves the EU but without any agreed arrangements covering things like how trade or travel will work in the future.
