Abandoned Signal Box ( Failed ), was filmed in Germany, you can see the name of the place on the building.
I was so excited to find a way in only to find that the top floor ( were all the magic is ) was locked solid and no way to enter it. I failed.... sorry. :-(
I feel you should see this as it was one of the main stops on our road-trip, good or bad.
Here is a little about the history I found on the net.
On 15 October 1851 the line went into operation. The signal box is not that old, more like the 1910's. Everything is now run by computer's but can't find when this was closed down.
As you can see DB has maintained it even though it is no longer in use.
