Occurred at the Main Public Library of Cincinnati & Hamilton County on May, 15th 2017 at 12:46 AM.
A librarian was walking down the street next to the Main Library when he three black males stopped him and asked for a cigarette. They then suddenly, and inexplicably attacked him.
The suspects later had a hard time explaining why they did it.
This crime was largely ignored by the media and it was only covered by two sites. Cincinnati.com bracketed this story with stories about racist policies in the Cincinnati Common Council.
The man was hit more than fifty times and was left with bleeding on the brain. For no apparent reason.
Two men were convicted of the crime, no word on the fate of the third suspect who took part in the beating, or a fourth who acted as a lookout. It's likely the two convicted will be out in a couple years.
