The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) has begun advancing towards the Syrian-Iraqi border, reaching the southern outskirts of the city of Mayadin, on Monday. Reportedly, the main obstacles along the route, in Abu Kamal city, have been laid out mines and unexpected suicide bombings by the ISIS jihadi cavemen. Operation to liberate Abu Kamal is led by the elite Tiger Forces of the Syrian Army.The SAA recaptured Deir ez-Zor on 3 November, the last major city in Syria's desert region, pushing ISIS banndists back towards the Syrian-Iraqi border.
