A police officer was detained for questioning yesterday after being caught driving dangerously while drunk. The police car was pulled over by traffic cops. The vehicle had been seen weaving along the road with siren between the Negev communities of Ashalim and Shivta, Channel 10 reported. Police said the officer was asked to take a breathalyzer test. The results led to his police license being revoked on the spot. Information about the incident was transferred to the Israel State Prosecutor's Office and the officer was given a compulsory leave of absence subject to a hearing. In the video recorded from the bus, the passengers cant believe what they see. Some of them thinking he has a flat tire or maybe trying to block them from getting close to the slowing truck ahead of them, for some reason. They say they never seen anything like that, and one telling the others - Lets call police (0:44), and everyone start laughing...
