BODY cam footage released this morning has captured the moment police realised a driver in Toowoomba was behind the wheel of a car without front seats.
The male driver and his female passenger were instead using rolled up foam mattresses as substitutes to the seats."Well, it's got no seats in it, that's the first I've ever seen," says the officer from the Toowoomba Road Policing Unit as he peers into the car on Monday."It's got a seat belt though. That's the main thing though chief, isn't it?" The driver optimistically responds.
A 30-year-old Harristown man has been charged with dangerous operation of a motor vehicle and driving a vehicle without a licence.
Police allege that at 4.10pm on Monday they intercepted the vehicle on Brisbane Street at Drayton.
Upon further examination of the vehicle the officer noticed that the front seats missing altogether
