5 Palestinian were killed in this accident earlier today, and several others injured, they were treated by Israel rescue services and taken to Haifa Hospital. Took place at northern Samaria (West Bank). Seems as if the truck had a break failure, and lost control as result. Even that the indentity of the driver is not known (could also be an Arab driver from Israel), it was already published over Palestinian social media that it was a Jewish settler driving the truch. On December 8th 1987, an Israeli truck hit two Palestinian cabs while it made a U-turn outside of Gaza. As a result 4 Palestinians were killed. During their heated funerals in Gaza, rumors were spread this was actually a delliberate payback for the murder of an Israeli named Shlomo Skal, who was stabbed to death in the Gaza main market 2 days earlier (back theh many Jews arrived to shop inside Gaza City). This actually what ignited the First Palestinian Intifada, which started a day after the accident.
